This Year's Campaign - How it Works; How to Get Involved!

There are many ways to participate in Jumpstart’s Read for the Record in 2008

Buy a Book and Read

Buy a special edition copy of Corduroy and open the world of reading for a child. Plus, 100% of the proceeds support Jumpstart’s proven program, which provides caring adult mentors who work one-to-one with children for a full year to help prepare them to enter school ready to succeed.

Join us on October 2, 2008 and make Jumpstart’s Read for the Record the largest shared reading experience ever!

Donate Books

Create or join an online book drive to help Jumpstart's Read for the Record raise money to provide copies of Corduroy to children in low-income communities.

Why? The number of books in a home is the single strongest indicator of a child's future reading ability - help us build home libraries for children who may have few, if any, age appropriate books in their homes.

Read at an Event
